In case you’re wondering, no. I’m not going to “boycott” MAC (I really suck at boycotts), but I will say this.

I’m disappointed. Why does society embrace this mental illness? Why do they glamorize it?
Bruce, Caitlyn– whatever– needs help, not affirmation. That doesn’t mean he deserves to be bullied and ridiculed, but at some point, we have to ask ourselves if we’re REALLY helping the transgender community by ignoring the root of the problem. We simply tell them their urges are completely normal.
We tell them to embrace it. Funny, we don’t do that with any other mental illness. Why this one? It’s not helping them. It’s hurting them. Talking about the reality of the situation doesn’t make you “unloving.” Quite the contrary.
But I digress.
